The Blood Type Diet

Home >> Diet >>The Blood Type Diet

James D'Adamo with the help of his son in later years discovered that not all diets work for every person, thats why there are so many diets out there. They also discovered there is a simple solution to the question "why do people's bodies (and minds believe it or not) react differently to different types of foods?" The answer is blood type. D'Adamo discovered that you can actually tell which foods are better for you according to what blood type you have.
He also learned that in addition to determining an individual's optimal diet and exercise practices, blood type indicates one's metabolic efficiency, emotional response to stress, energy level, and susceptibility to various diseases. If you were to follow this diet correctly you have the ability to combat serious illness, slow cell deterioration that accompanies aging, avoid common viruses and infections, and lose weight, as the body automatically eliminated toxins and fats.

If you have Type O blood, your blood cells react positively to small but frequent portions of meat (excluding pork), poultry, fish, vegetables, and fruit. However foods like Grains, wheat, legumes, and dairy products are incompatible with Typo O blood. Although animal protein is great for Type O blood, It has the opposite effect on Type A. Type A's are much better off eating Vegetarian food like beans, legumes, cereal, vegetables, and fruit. Dairy does not respond well to Type O or Type A blood, however it does work well with Type B and Type AB blood. Type B's should eat fish and meats like lamb, mutton, rabbit, and venison. However chicken does not go with Type B's. Type AB blood works well with a combination of Type A and Type B foods.

In D'Adamo's book he provides list of highly beneficial foods, neutral foods, and foods to avoid in these categories: seafood, dairy and eggs, meats and poultry, oils and fats, nuts and seeds, beans and legumes, breads and muffins, cereals, grains and pasta, vegetables, fruit, juices and fluids, spices, condiments, herbal teas, and beverages. He also provides a dozen recipes for each blood type, and supplement advice and exercise guidelines that correspond to each blood type's stress reaction.

This is by far in my opinion the best and most precise diet. Blood type is truly THE factor that determines ones weight gain/lose. This diet plan can and will work for anyone if followed correctly.
