Best Life Diet

The Best Life Diet was created by Bob Green and made famous by Opera. Opera has used this diet herself and owes her recent weight loss to this plan. Why are you overweight? Why do you want to lose weight? Why weren’t you successful in the past? Why have you been unable to maintain weight loss in the past? These are the questions that you will have to ask yourself, after which you are asked to reexamine the decisions you make every day then gradually alter these bad habits to achieve lasting results.

This book is a diet plan for your life. In it are tips like weighing yourself often, Removing alcohol for your life, adding certain foods to your diet, drinking more water, eating three meals and only two snacks per day, adding a vitamin Supplement to your day, and stopping eating two hours before your bedtime.

The Best Life Diet book includes which foods to eat and which to stay away from. Foods you should avoid are soda, trans fats, fried foods, regular pasta, white bread, and any dairy high in fat. It is recommended that you eat food like flat bread, mushrooms, light yogurt, whole grain pasta with omega 3's, soy milk, spritz salad dressing, olive oil, vegetables, whole grain/whole wheat cereal, nutritional shakes, and green giant spinach.

This is a great book/plan for anyone overweight and looking to change that. However this book is not for people with an above average knowledge of nutrition and fitness. I do not recommend this book for those of you out there who have tried a lot of diets and nothing is working, instead i recommend sitting down with a nutritionist, someone who will tell you exactly what to eat and not eat and how often, not just recommend what types of food to eat and not eat. This book is in a very understandable form for easy reading and less frustration. This diet does not suggest cutting out any one food group, encourages eating frequently, drinking plenty of water, and reexamining your current nutritional intake.

I recommend this book to anyone trying to change their daily life for the better, however there are things i dont personally like about this book. In this book you will find that Bob Green is sponsored by all sorts of brands of foods, and in his book he promotes the brands more than he does the actual food. You do NOT have to eat these brands, as long as you are eating the correct foods.
